O-Ring Kits

An O-ring kit is a pre-sorted assortment of the O-ring sizes used most often in a given field — general maintenance, automotive, plumbing or scuba equipment — organised into a labelled case so the right size is on hand without ordering single pieces per job.

Overview

Why a kit

Most repair and maintenance work only ever calls for a small, predictable set of O-ring sizes. A kit puts that working set in one labelled case instead of a drawer of loose bags, which is why kits are organised by the field they serve — an automotive/general kit follows AS568 or metric dash sizes, a scuba kit follows dive-equipment sizing, and a boss-seal kit covers the 900-series sizes used on straight-thread tube fittings.

Material

NBR

The standard kit compound — general oil and fuel resistance for most repair work.

Material

FKM (Viton)

Scuba and other kits needing better UV, ozone and salt-water resistance than NBR.

Why Stock an O-Ring Kit

An O-ring kit provides immediate access to a range of standard sizes for maintenance, repair and field service without the lead time of ordering individual sizes. For maintenance workshops, mobile service vehicles and production lines, having the right O-ring available immediately can prevent hours or days of equipment downtime waiting for a special-order seal.

FITCO kits are organised by standard (AS568, Metric, JIS) and arranged in compartmentalised storage boxes with clear size labelling. Each box contains a defined number of pieces per size — typically 5 or 10 per compartment — chosen to cover the most commonly used sizes in each standard. Refill packs are available for individual sizes as they are consumed.
