Key advantages of Polyurethane
- Exceptional abrasion and tear resistance — 5–10× better than most rubbers
- Very high tensile strength (up to 50 MPa) and load-bearing capacity
- Good resistance to mineral oils, greases, fuels and hydraulic fluids
- Temperature range from -30°C to +80°C (special grades to +110°C)
- Excellent extrusion resistance at high pressures — ideal for hydraulic piston and rod seals
FITCO supplies polyester- and polyether-based PU seals and O-rings for hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic systems, and high-pressure applications where conventional rubbers extrude or wear prematurely.
